Get alerts by email or webhook, step by step

Alerts tell you when a metric crosses a limit. Let's create one that watches your conversions.

  1. 1New alert: metric, condition, threshold, and window

In Alerts, click New alert and give it a name that says what it watches.

Pick the metric, here Conversions, and the condition: Less than.

With a threshold of five and a sixty minute window, you're notified if an hour has fewer than five conversions.

  2. 2How you get notified: webhook or Notify by email

Now choose how it notifies you: one of your project's webhooks, or a direct URL for another service.

Check Notify by email and enter the recipient. Leave it empty and the alert goes to you.

  3. 3The Rules: Pause, Activate, and last triggered

Click Create. The alert shows up in Rules, active and on watch.

Each rule shows its condition, status, and when it last triggered.

Changing your site and don't want the noise? Click Pause. To resume, click Activate.

Metric, condition, threshold, and window, plus a webhook or email. So you find out in time.
