Measure which source brings the most conversions, step by step

Let's see which traffic source brings the most conversions, and which campaign each sale came from.

  1. 1Conversions, Revenue, and Best rate

In Conversions you have two goals: purchase and signup. Open the Activity tab. Up top are the period's conversions and the revenue they brought.

Best rate is the top goal's conversions over the period's sessions. Here it's sign-ups, at eleven point seven percent.

  2. 2By goal and By source

By goal splits out each marked event, with its count and rate. Sign-ups usually convert more than purchases.

By source shows where people who converted came from. Google brings over nine hundred conversions, Instagram over five hundred.

The Visitors column counts distinct people: someone who converts twice is two conversions, but one visitor.

  3. 3Recent activity, with campaign and value

Below, Recent activity lists every conversion with its event, source, utm campaign, value and time.

So you know which campaign drove each sale. This twelve ninety peso purchase came from Google, on buen fin twenty twenty-six.

Activity shows how much you convert, which source converts best, and where each sale came from.
