How to use the Metixon dashboard: a full tour

Tour the dashboard, step by step

Here's a quick tour of the Metixon dashboard: where everything is and how to read your Overview.

1. 1The sidebar: sections, projects, and your account

   On the left is the menu with every section of your project: Overview, Realtime, Pages, Sources, Events, Funnels and more.

   Below are your projects. The open one shows how many people are on your site right now; Connect an app adds another.

   At the bottom is your account. One click opens the menu for My account or Log out.

2. 2The filter bar and the date range

   Top right is the filter bar. The date range you pick applies to everything in the Overview.

   Switch to thirty days, for example: the subtitle confirms it and every number updates instantly.

3. 3The Overview: metrics, chart, and breakdowns

   The cards sum up the period: unique visitors, sessions, page views, events, bounce and conversion, each with its change from the last period.

   The chart shows your visitors day by day. Hover for details; the dotted line is the previous period.

   Next to it, Live shows how many people are on your site and the stream of incoming events.

   Further down are the breakdowns: where your traffic comes from, top pages, devices and countries.

4. 4Switch between projects and between light and dark mode

   To see another project, click its name in the menu. Each one has its own Overview, and the date range stays.

   And this toggle switches between light and dark theme, whichever you prefer.
