Find your most viewed pages, step by step

Let's read the Pages section: what people view most, where they arrive on your site, and which page they leave from.

  1. 1The pages table: views, visitors, entries, and average time

All pages lists every path on your site, from most to least viewed, for the date range you pick up top.

Views counts each page load; Visitors, distinct people. Entries are sessions that started there, and Avg. time is how long they stay.

Look at this blog post: it's not among the most viewed, but people stay over three minutes reading it. That content hooks.

  2. 2Entry pages: where people come in

Below, Entry pages shows where people arrive. Besides the home page, the denim jacket gets tons of sessions straight from your ads.

  3. 3Exit pages: where they leave

Exit pages shows the last page of each session. Leaving from the thank-you page is normal: they already bought. The cart is another story.

Compare it with the table: the cart has sixty-two hundred views, and almost thirty-five hundred sessions end there. Sales to recover.

Use the table to see what's consumed, entries to see where people arrive, and exits to find where you lose them.
